While Gacha Club is famous for its creative modes, it also features a Battle Mode where your custom characters can fight enemies and gain valuable resources. This includes the “Gacha” aspect of the game – summoning new units and pets to aid you in combat. Understanding the battle mechanics is crucial for progression and unlocking more content.

Entering the Fray: Combat Fundamentals

Prepare your characters for strategic engagements.

• Units & Teams: Select a team of up to six characters (units) from your presets to participate in battles. Each character has stats like HP, ATK, and DEF.
• Element System: Units and enemies belong to specific elements (e.g., Fire, Water, Wind). Elements have strengths and weaknesses against each other, so strategy is key for team composition.
• Auto Battle: Most battles in Gacha Club are automated. Your units will attack enemies based on their stats and abilities. Your role is primarily in team setup.
• Skills & Abilities: Characters have active and passive skills that trigger during battle. These can deal damage, heal allies, or provide buffs/debuffs.
• Battle Areas: Progress through different battle areas, each with increasing difficulty and new enemies. Completing areas unlocks more content.
• Gacha Summoning: Use Gems (earned from battles or mini-games) to perform Gacha summons. This is how you acquire new units (for battle or aesthetic use) and pets (which assist in combat).
• Farming: Re-play completed battle areas to farm Gems, Credits, and training materials to strengthen your units.

Gacha battles offer a different kind of challenge, rewarding strategic team building and diligent farming to enhance your roster of characters and pets.
